Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here at the Apothic Inn as I found it to be the best place we stayed in more than three weeks of traveling across the maritimes and the service and value you get is some of the best you'll find anywhere you go.

My girlfriend and I were very fortunate enough to be able to spend two nights at the Apothic Inn and the only downside is that we weren't able to stay for longer.

We stayed in two different rooms during our visit and both of them were well equipped for a short-term stay, comfortable, spacious, and perfectly suited for two people.

The location is ideal, a short walk from the historic downtown area of Amherst and a short 5 minute drive away from the main Highway in the region so it's very easily accessible and you can quickly get out of town the next morning to get where you need to go.

Beautiful heritage home with a wonderful hostess. We stayed in the bedroom near the kitchen in the main floor, and it was quite grand. Enjoyed the stained glass throughout the Inn and enjoyed the common room. Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the friendly dog outside.

Fabulous host with insight into local attraction and restaurant, awesome breakfast, very clean and we'll decorated. I would stay again if in the area.

Rhonda definitely has a knack for interior design and you can't help but wander around in admiration as you explore the home and get settled in your own room.

The inn is located inside of a historic Victorian era home with plenty of charm and a very welcoming feel to it making it seem like you're visiting your parents or something earlier friends rather than just another inn.

We had a wonderful experience staying here at the inn with Rhonda and even if you don't plan on visiting anywhere in the immediate area and you're just passing through I would still recommend spending the night here before venturing onward.

We had a wonderful night here! The house was absolutely beautiful and our room was gorgeous. Rhonda made us a delicious breakfast and we spent our morning in the sunroom, hanging out with her adorable husky. I would definitely recommend it!

Rhonda is a great chef, breakfasts were stellar. The house itself is one of those fine old mansions, which Rhonda had lovingly restored to its former glory. And she's a great host, too.

The host Rhonda is one of the loveliest people I have ever met and she was the highlight of our entire trip to the Maritime's. Rhonda is easy to talk to and generally interested in what you have to say along with being an incredible host that's always there to ensure that you're having a great time at the inn.

One of the best parts of the stay was the world class breakfast that Rhonda cooked up each morning and be sure to ask her for her recommendations so that you're able to get the best breakfast possible!

Despite always being around, Rhonda also tends to stay out of sight unless you need something so it's never imposing or awkward to spend time in the inn or to relax in the public areas.
